ALLOA ATHLETIC season tickets have gone on sale ahead of the football's long-awaited return.

The Wasps will offer fans the chance to enjoy home league games online at no extra costs, with supporters expected to still be told to stay away from the Recs.

The Championship season is due to begin on October 17 and clubs will only play each other three times rather than the usual four.

Full details on how to watch live streaming of the games will be released soon.

Football has been off the cards in Clacks since March with Alloa last hosting Inverness Caledonian Thistle before the game was shut down.

An Alloa Athletic spokesperson said: “We are working through the details of how it will work in practice and will update supporters shortly.

"Season ticket holders will also get priority access to games once social distancing measures are relaxed, but will also have the additional access to online streaming should they not be able to attend games.

“I hope this clarity will provide further incentive to supporters to now buy their season ticket if they can."
