PETER Grant has shared his delight at talk Scottish football is set for a package of financial support and an agreement on when and how fans should return.
The SFA/SPFL Joint Response Group (JRG) is expected to announce today that funds will be made available to clubs following a breakthrough in talks with the Scottish Government, according to reports.
It should mean Alloa Athletic will be given an injection of cash to help see them through an extended period without supporters.

"It is massive," Grant told Advertiser Sport. "Especially in the circumstances that we are all having to cope with.
"Football is a release valve and that's never going to change. Unfortunately that costs money and there's none coming in.
"It's like anybody and if you are trying to pay a mortgage, for instance, you will struggle to do that without money coming in.
"It will be fantastic to get the help and you just hope we will be getting closer to when we can have fans and sustain ourselves."

While there were no details as to the size of the package, the Scottish Government is understood to have acknowledged that both are vital to struggling clubs.
A statement is expected from the JRG today. Alloa Athletic chairman Mike Mulraney, who is also the Scottish FA vice president, is a member of the JRG.
