ANDY GRAHAM has been awarded the Scottish League One Glen’s Manager of the Month for February.

The Wasps gaffer earned the accolade after his side went on a perfect impressive run, which saw them pick up 15 points from 15.

Graham said: “I’m pleased to have been voted as Glen’s Manager of the Month but when these awards are given out, it is always a team effort.

“Niall Marshall, Paddy Connolly, and Rab Glen deserve as much credit as me, as does everyone else that puts in a great deal of effort behind the scenes to make Alloa as good a place to work as it can be.

“A special mention as well to the medical team Scott Anderson and Allan White who have come in mid-season which is never easy but have been a great addition.”

Alongisde Graham earning the top award, Taylor Steven has also been awarded the Glen's Player of the Month for February.

The St Johnstone loanee picked up four goals throughout February, including his matchwinner against Stirling and an impressive brace against Cove Rangers, alongside some assists too.

Graham added: "A big congratulations to Taylor Steven on winning Player of the Month for February.

"Taylor has scored and set up some big goals but just as pleasing to see is how hard he has worked in those games.

"I'm sure Taylor would be first to acknowledge the contribution his team mates have also made in February and the full squad deserve the recognition."

Alloa catapulted themselves up to third place after massive wins against Stirling Albion, Cove Rangers, Hamilton and a double over Annan Athletic.

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said: “Andy achieved a remarkable run of results in February.

“Having only been managing the club since November, he has taken his side to the top half of the league table with an impressive winning streak which undoubtedly secured him his first Scottish League One Glen’s Manager of the Month title.

“I extend my congratulations to Andy and everyone involved at Alloa Athletic. I hope to see this level of play continue.”
