ANDY GRAHAM has signed a one-year contract extension with Alloa Athletic.

The club confirmed that the gaffer had put pen to paper after the game against Edinburgh City, a 5-2 victory for the Wasps.

Alloa Athletic released a statement on Sunday, March 17, confirming the news to supporters.

It said: “We’re pleased to announce manager Andy Graham has extended his stay at Alloa Athletic until the end of the 2024/25 season.

“Since taking over the job, we’re pleased at the atmosphere and environment that Andy has created at Alloa and that has reflected in the results, with the Wasps sitting in prime position for the playoffs with eight games remaining.”

Alloa’s form has been excellent since Graham came in, embarking on two impressive runs – one unbeaten run of six games and then a perfect February, wherein they picked up maximum points from five games.

“I’m still learning and I’ve got a lot to learn,” Graham told the club. “I want to do that at Alloa.

“It’s something I’m keen to do and I’m glad we could get it sorted because it’s important that we can start planning for next season and I’m really happy to get it done and get it signed and look forward on the momentum the players have built.

“Since November, it has been excellent and it’s now a case with eight games to go, we want to make sure we deliver on our aims of getting into the play-offs.”
