THREE of Alloa’s squad have signed contract extensions, keeping them at the club for the 2024-25 season.

Skipper Scott Taggart and midfielders Kurtis Roberts and Stefan Scougall have penned new deals, as Alloa start to make preparations for next season.

As exclusively revealed by Advertiser Sport earlier this week, PJ Morrison has also been confirmed to be staying at the club next year.

Since extending his own deal last month, Andy Graham has been hard at work beginning to build his squad for the 2024-25 season.

Graham spoke with Advertiser Sport and shared his delight at getting the deals over the line, hailing the work the four have done for the club over the past year.

He said: “I think it’s really important that you look at what you’ve got in the building before you start looking elsewhere.

“Not that we’ve not been looking and watching other players, but at the same time, I think it’s really important that you look after the guys that have done really well.

“There’s no doubt about it that these guys are mainstays in the team and the contributions they make to the changing room and in training and on the pitch on a Saturday can’t be overlooked.

“I’m really delighted that they want to stay. That’s really important and, from my perspective, it was very easy discussions with all of them.

“That was pleasing for me and hopefully they’ll be a big part of things moving forward.”
