ALLOA ATHLETIC hosted its first season ticket holders Q&A session in recent years, hoping to re-establish engagement with the fans.
Representatives from all aspects of the club attended the meeting, which was also joined by around 20 season ticket holders with Alloa.
Alloa chairman Andy Allan was in attendance, while Andy Graham and Scott Taggart represented the first team.
Alex Brown was on hand to answer any questions about the youth and community side of things, while Allan Milne provided updates on the Alloa Women’s team.
Andy Allan opened the meeting, thanking fans for their time and explaining he wanted to bolster relationships between the club and the fans.
“Thanks very much for everyone coming along tonight,” Mr Allan said. “We’ve got a good representative here from our men’s team, our ladies’ team, our community team and the Academy.
“I feel it’s important to get an understanding of what is going on across the club in various different areas.
“We’re very keen to re-establish with regular communication with our season ticket holders.
“At the moment, we are restricting it to just season ticket holders and we are planning to look at doing another one in the early part of 2025.
“What we really try and do as a club is put out as good a first team as we possibly can.”
Following this, Andy Graham made a short speech to once more thank fans for their attendance and outline his aims for the meetings and for the club.
The Wasps boss explained that he wanted to drive fan feedback into influencing club decisions – both on the pitch and off the pitch – to allow Alloa to be the best it could be.
“Thank you to all of you for coming,” Andy Graham said. “Something we’re looking to do as a club is engage with you guys and as many supporters as we can because, this is your club.
“You guys have come for a long time and we really appreciate everything you do and everything you give.
“It’s important to us that we engage with you and we want to use your feedback going forward to improve things as a club.
“The second I got the job, the first thing I wanted to do was improve things – and that’s not just on the playing front, it’s in everything we do as a club.”
Questions were fielded towards the five representatives, covering a whole host of topics including signings, injuries, upcoming games, community engagement, infrastructure at the club and ticket prices.
