Body found in search for missing Tullibody man (Image: N/A)
A BODY has been found in the search for a man missing from Tullibody since last May.
Kenneth Wessels was last seen leaving his home on Newbiggin Crescent, Tullibody, at around 4.45am on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
Investigators had issued a number of appeals to trace the 61-year-old over the last few months.
However, police received a report of a man's body being found in a wooded area near Forestmill, at around 11.10am on Monday, January 23.
While formal identification is yet to take place, officers said that relatives of Mr Wessels have been informed.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
