A 65-YEAR-OLD man has died following a road crash in Tullibody at the end of last month.

As reported by the Advertiser, two vehicles were involved in the collision at around 9.45am on Friday, January 26.

A motorist was treated at the scene by emergency services, with Police Scotland confirming that the man died in hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Friday, January 26, we were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on Alloa Road, Tullibody.

“Emergency services attended and the driver of one of the vehicles, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he later died.

“No one else was injured. The road fully re-opened around 1.05pm.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

This is the second crash to take place on Alloa Road since the turn of the new year, with 48-year-old Barry Dawson killed in a three-vehicle incident on January 7.

The Advertiser reported that Mr Dawson was killed in the accident, while two women were taken to hospital after the crash, which took place in the early hours of the morning.
