DICTATOR are set to release their first track of 2021 with Moonlight later this month.

The West Lothian outfit is emerging as one of the bands to watch this year, and are planning big for the future.

A handful of releases are expected, with the first coming in the shape of Moonlight on Friday, February 12.

The band is also putting together a music video for the track, asking fans to send over their reaction to hearing the song. Those interested are asked to drop them band a DM or email over to dictvtor@outlook.com

The track is said to be about revelling in the nostalgia of youth and being "a reflection on simpler times and an appreciation of what we’ve come through to get to where we are…"

Despite the pandemic, Dictator were able to make some headway in 2020 as they stole the show at the epic Sam's Night fundraiser and even claimed The Weekender's Song of the Year Award.

The band's Zach Tarimo also appeared on Brownbear's Sunday Social yesterday, discussing a huge 2021 ahead.

Moonlight is a slight departure in tone for the four-piece, as it swerves into serious ballad territory.

It was recorded by Edinburgh based engineer Mark Morrow and produced by award-nominated Scottish producer Liam Doc (Eyeangle Records/Subclub).

Moonlight can be pre-saved on Spotify here.
